Guess not. Most people with good sense are in bed this time of night. Not having any sense good or bad is why I'm still up. Take Care...Don

i LOVE your avatar thingy!
as far as chatrooms go, my friends....
i have never used one. and prolly am not on line at the right time, eh?
it is hot and muggy here in my part of north carolina....we have the windows open.
since the sun went down...really not even cooling off...because of the 63 percent humidity.
i am so devastated by this oil spill in the gulf of mexico!
i want one of those big tricycle things that my grandparents used to 'drive' in florida
i reckon the only oil it would need is to keep the moving parts greased,

Thanks, that one just tickled me one day...glad it gave you a chuckle.
And, I love yours, too. It's beautiful and wild and poetic, like you!
Chats can be fun and a much softer way to interact at times that straight forums. Sometimes, because of the topics, we get so wrapped up in the issues we forget we are all human beings and spiritual souls...chats can bring us a little closer in that respect.

i haVE A LOT OF BUTTERFLY PHOTOS! ON MY MYSPACE thingy, as well as lots of photos of the nature i life within and amongst and with.
you make a good point about chat rooms...if i happen to be here at the right time...i hope to chat someone up, eh?

i truly miss the earthboppers'....yet, i cannot deal with some of the mean crap that happens there.
we are all susceptible to having bad moods and different opinions...that is great, well and fine!
but, to simply be mean is wrong and bad.
we all have heavy loads to bear in life...i have no room for the useless.
mean being is useless in my opine and way of living.

hi Redhart, can you still not get to earthboppin? All the trolls left thankfully and it's a pretty calm place at least for now. I stayed up until 11:30 last night studying the geology of the Gulf of Mexico, New Madrid, etc. I'm so unfamiliar with that area, it was quite instructive. I posted what I found on earthwatchers and nobody seemed very interested in the science stuff so I started really missing y'all there. Not that I didn't before but ya know...!
Now today, I've got to play catch up with the house, wash, garden, etc.
Hope all's well with you and your kids, dogs, Tex. My Bichon finally came out of heat, lost her appetite for a couple of days, which kind of scared me but she's back to near normal now. I say "near normal" because I can't find actual normal anywhere these days!
I'll try to come back online this evening after I clean the house, plant what's left to plant (the rest of the tomatoes, zuchh., yellow squash, more carrots).
See ya, Sheila

Nope, still can't get on Earthboppin.
I got my tomato and pepper (and herbs) through the snow yesterday (yes, snowed yesterday morning!). Weather looks warm for the next week--so stowed the burlap and set three green bean seedlings into the ground (the rest are coming soon).
Nice to have a garden again
