    ROTFLMAO! lol!

A woman went to a discount store to purchase several items. When she finally got to the checker, she learned one of her items had no price. She thought she'd die of embarrassment when the checker got on the intercom and boomed out for all the store to hear, "Price check on lane thirteen. Tampax. Supersize."

As if that wasn't bad enough, the person looking for the price misunderstood the word "Tampax" for "Thumbtacks." In a businesslike tone, a voice boomed back over the intercom, "Do you want the kind you push in with your thumb or the kind you pound in with a hammer?"

    ROTF!! Laughing

I remember getting mine the first time, and being at the store with my mother and great grandmother (her grandma). My great grandmother was so proud and so excited about it that she was talking to other shoppers about it in the feminine product aisle.

    Talk about embarassing, haha.

Oh great!! Thanks for reliving that moment for me...I could do some quotable quotes from my grandma, but I think it would make a number of your shake your heads in disbelief.

After my dad passed away and we were in the funeral home, his "new" wife of a year and a half was sitting next to me. My mom had passed away 8 months before him and they had divorced the year before that. Mind you grandma was hard of hearing so she says to me "Well Paula got him in the end".... affraid --That was the horrified look on my kids faces. I just took it all in stride, knowing my grandma like I did. I sure do miss her.
