Font size - that 'something else'

Post  chatillion on Sun 21 Feb 2010, 1:26 am

clicked on the little icon with double 'A's. The third one from left on second row. Chose "Large". Inserted text between the two inside brackets. otherwise had to highlight selected text, then clicked on it. Should show up enlarged in Preview.
I suspect that this will have to be repeated for each posting.

[b]I'm not sure I'll be able to master posting here. Mr. Bopp made it so simple on the other board, I'm spoiled.
I finally passed the sign-in test, however, LOL! geek

I may need to don reading glasses to view what I wrote. How'd you do that bold stuff again? I tried the bold button and it only printed a little b with >

So glad you got here. Hope things are going well. Think of you every time I buy apples. Never have been able to find out the source...

    Highlight text.
Go to the two rows of buttons above the block where you type in your message.
Third button from left, second row.
    Click Large.
    Click on Preview.
Then scroll down a bit to edit before posting.

Now I'd like to figure out how to enlarge the Subject text.
Heh...actually all text all over! Rolling Eyes

    changing text size

Post  johnl on Sun 21 Feb 2010, 9:31 pm

With a mouse, the text size can be temporarily enlarged by holding the CTRL key and pushing the middle “roll” button forward. Then to get back to normal size, hold the CTRL key and twirl the middle “roll” button backward.

At Sysygy I used to use size=14 in brackets to enlarge the text size, but I’m getting used to the small print. It’d be nice if the text size could be programmed from the interface.
