Hi Sonic Sal,
The photographic icon you have reminds me of the mental state of many in my immediate surroundings right now. Some kind of desperation hitting. There is prayer as a course of outlet and consolation.
I'm on the east coast. Land of the financial earthquakes since 2008.
I find it interesting that many in the local print newspapers here and the local comments start speaking about drone overflights, because they are a visible sign that things in the free speech and freedom of association arena are tightening up - free speech narrowing here to be like a size 32 on a size 36 frame. It JUST TOOK the literal presence of those grey winged planes to bring
those with single-minded focus on working, getting, and doing to look up and start thinking.
I guess the weather change - the disaster of entire communities being disconnected by the big eastern storm's power outages, -- that climate swerve thing, was too big and too spread out over too wide an area to notice for the people
who are always on to the next thing, and then the next thing, and did I say it already, the next thing still, in circles of busy-ness.
Don't worry, we'll get through this steamy, stirred up cauldron of July's too-early grapes... big things are going down but like Astropro says, we've still got some batteries, some canned food, and water to hold us...
Hope your July lets you coast and rest for a while ! have a good weekend, Sonc Sal, from beejean
