Silence Better than Declaration?
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak has suggested that the Israeli warplanes were aiming decisively to destroy a convoy originating from Syria, and destroyed within Syrian borders, attempting to bring advanced weaponry into Lebanon to arm Hezbollah.
AP reports the above info this morning in an article that explains the long relationship between the Assad regime and Hezbollah by suggesting that the two units have continued an alliance despite Assad's embattled retreat into a small area of his country, as he refuses to renounce his governance of the country which has been torn apart.
