Aunty Em! = Midwest May 2013 Kansas Tornadoes A Danger for Survival

Kansas reports a severe weather alert with a high storm threat for today as a continuation of yesterday's outbreak.

modes of severe weather will be possible with the storms, including large, destructive hail, damaging winds and tornadoes. If the storms can remain isolated, there is the possibility for a couple of strong tornadoes, especially along and east of the Turnpike . The highest severe weather risk should shift into Eastern Kansas and western Missouri overnight.

Stay with KAKE throughout the weekend as we continue to track this possible severe weather outbreak.
