warships from Iran
Secretary of State John Kerry, whose old stomping grounds were around here, thought he'd try one of his smoke and mirrors routines on the international stage and unfortunately found out that real tyrants don't give a hoot about violating agreements. He should have known this after all, but he's been extremely befuddled by the idea of secret conferences and their promises over the past year. He must have been windsurfing on the Charles River while the denouement of the Hillary plan to start a "reset button" for Russia played out.
Anyway, he threw chips into the secret conference pot by "making a deal" with a few guys from Iran to back off on their rush to produce a nuclear warhead by allowing access to billions of Iranian funds sitting in "confiscation" (which may mean the funds were propping up some US Bank or another) and also backing off on trade sanctions. As Drudge Report mentioned a few days after this agreement, many top Iranian generals and their ilk released statements saying that they had given up nothing and the agreement was null and void from their perspective.
These top Iranian generals and admirals could not believe how dense the Americans are about the utter repudiation of the secret agreement so they sent out warships and made it known through news releases that the agreement really presented no impediments in their nuclear program, because in fact they had tired of the American warships being in their vicinity near Bahrain and were now launching warships to the Atlantic Coast of US. (In fact, a so-called "meteor" sighting in Maine this past week looked suspiciously like a missile trajectory.) http://strangesounds.org/2014/02/fireball-in-the-sky-over-oxford-county-maine-february-8-2014-video.html
Since Iran has been hostile for so long, through so many leaders, it's hard to tell how much more hostile they are feeling today ? Be happy if you're on the West coast. As for me, I'm inclined to think that they just could not resist firing a test dud shot to see how it would look over the skies of Maine.
Thanks, Kerry, for calling attention to our foreign-policy gaffes once again (even after the Syria chemical weapons bologna).
