    Well, it's storming here.
Not as bad as north of here.
But I remember a storm like this.
    Back in 1977.
The worst part is the wind drifting the roads shut.
On my way home about 1am EST, we were driving along and the road in front of us ended under a huge drift of snow.
    Just like that. Shocked
    Not good.
This is nothing compared to what's happening up in New York State... NYC included.
Is anybody up there who can report in???
Power is out alot of places.
This is early in the storm period so no telling what we'll all be dealing with by the time it ends.
I know I've been buying and buying food and supplies for a few weeks now.
    It's been almost embarrassing.
But I love it when instinct comes through for me!

We're getting the back end of the storm now.
Snow coming in off of Lake Erie and across Ohio.
I had an invitation to dinner tonight but cancelled.
    Roads are bad here... drifty!
It's funny how snow at Christmas time can make you feel so good.
Doesn't have that effect at the end of February! They're comparing this NE storm to a catagory 2 hurricane... Smiley-sad006

Weather has been 'activity preventative' ha! the whole time.

I was born and raised back east and I remember a lot of bad winters, but never with so many severe storms so close together and over such a wide area. You people back there hardly get to catch your breath before the next one comes in. Sending prayers to all of you, take care of yourselves and stay warm. Vim, did your vertigo finally leave?

Vim, did your vertigo finally leave?

Thanks for asking... no, I am still dealing with it.
    It has subsided somewhat.
    This is day #8.
I was able to shovel some snow an hour or so ago.
    Feeling better.
Did not realize the 8.8 had happened.
I just got on here and see all this activity!
Will keep track of the feeling.
I have wondered if the dizziness is related.
If so, we are still not out of the woods yet.
News report says the 7 mag aftershock that was expected in Chile did not happen yet.
They are concerned about that coming in unexpectedly now.
    Everyone, BREATHE!!!
