I figure it like this melinda...Obama is giving everything to anyone that wants it...so someday when we go "broke"... (which we already are)...we will have to sit down and decide which one us wants to be "unhappy" giving up stuff..or else we should be down each other's proverbial throats by then, with guns, knives and hatchets, anything we can find to use on each other...like in the old days...sad day indeed it will be...which is what they want in ways also I think. You know what my uncle thinks about politics, and he's an dang millionaire I understand...he says Nebraska has only one set of law-makers, why?..
because the farmer's know the more of them, the more problems and the more wasted your dollar is...farmer's are not wasteful. Nor do they need someone else to represent them, they are more then willing to lay it down the line to you what they want and expect...without having to go through others to get it said. I wonder if he's still "living" these days. I just got done reading that Augusta Co.,Virginia at one time included seven other states...see how little they had in the way of representation back in those days. Yet beside Augusta Co., Va. they covered all of Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and part of Pennsylvania...just think of all the money they must of saved off legislator pensions alone!!!...Laughs*

Yeah, well much of the mess they have is influeneed by the people they are around in ways...but I took my doctor's advice and for two years, he says, don't buy it unless they pick up after themselves, and if they don't... then you know they got to much to handle maybe. But at any rate (over Spring Vacation last week) in two truck loads we hauled out one Queen sized sofa sleeper, one lounge type arm chair, one smaller swivel chair, one rising up and down cofffe/card table, one side/sitting chair, two tv sets, two area rugs, one queen sized foam mattress, one large tent, we kept the poles, one "blown" microwave/convection oven...and an kiddie desk...an rocker type chair that plays music dvd's with headphones....I'm still not done though. Mostly clothing now. But I can get through my garage now.

Jessie Jackson is here, and they are fighting it out in the streets of downtown Portland. More "peaceful" they say they are..the more they riot. It's true the police were wrong in this case, what the police did, they are getting to "gun" happy, but rioting can't change things of the past already done.

I made some beef vegggie soup and added black eyed peas to it, I've never worked with them before, but I got two small packages on clearance recently, because they were the last at 80 cents each.. so decided to use them, turned out really good...almost was more stew like by the time I got done adding more otf this and that...thought about the cornbread, but didn't, we had rolls instead. I was thinking of you with these black eyed peas..you grow them every year don't you?

While you guys dodge tornadoes, and New England is trying to not wash away, we are having storm cells coming through dumping 19 inches of snow on the eastside of
Mt. Hood yesterday and 14 inches more tonight...if it does that, they say we will
be maybe "normal" for this summer in our water levels. First time since October that
the rain levels are back to normal again.

Sent you off an Easter card last night..be an surprise if you get before Sunday though, but do have an nice Easter. Think I about got things ready for it.

i value you as well as your input of advice Cool

even my adult children take your words and recipes to heart.

i hope that your own family comes to value you as much as we do.

somewhere there is a prophecy about not being appreciated in your own town....

yet, appreciated as a teacher (prophet) by strangers.

you fit that quite well, i say.

in my house...money has little value.

    knowledge and wisdom is valued.

    advice is valued.

you are valued as an elder of the human race.

blessings and thank you woth all my heart

Well, my dear...I give your Sherill family one big "blessing" this year for updating and getting their lineage back on line...it is invaluable to me...to say the least.
Your family has now been installed in the Barlow family records...of the Barlow Toll Gate Road, family of my mother's line and very famous here in Oregon..an later lineage. I am fairly certain that those in Augusta County, Va. as the "Shirhams" that married Littleberry (or Berry) Lawson, son of John Lawson...is an Sherill line. John Lawson has an nephew named William Lawson also, one of the two them "fits" to be my hubby's kin direct. They are connected with George Washington. My mother's side married back into two of their lineages, they guard that relationship very religiously because it Masonic londge connected..that's why we are long time in the family "Masonic Lodge" members in records with her surname...and part of it is in Tenneessee. JOhn's oldest son Nathaniel)may of married into an third relatives lineage. Some of these people are being said to been Native American blooded also...I think the Delwares, whom were early on Christainized. But I'm still reaearcing that, as they one have one member of
"DNA" supposedly to their name known on-line these days. They were probably as my friend says "Scouts" for the army back then...along the James River.

Lady, if this country ever goes down, I'd like to know how to "live off the land" like you do in ways...it's going to take some talent to do it these days. Mostly because "them thar hills" are no longer teeming with life in plants and animals
for survival...construction companies have wiped out most original vegetation, soemthing both our Oregon Senators are doign it trying to lay aside "wild lands" that are untouched..before there is none of it left. As David says, if you don't know how to strip an larch (pine) tree and eat the inner bark after preparing and making it taste like "chicken" and you don't know how to do that...without killing the tree in the process...your signing away your own future livabilty. People with out money..it will be an real "wake up" hour for them. I just got done reading about Mary Ingles, I think the start of hubby's (Ingles-Anglen)lineage maybe, escaping from the Indians after they captured Fort Vause, killed her hsuband..she walked some 450 miles, living off chestnuts and wild berries, probably what ever the area had in store. I doubt people these days even know how to leech the chestnuts to make them safe to eat several times. Her son wrote the book about her life. The old Dutch woman with her, they at oen time had an squirmish also enroute..it turns out that they met she was probably called "Duestch" meaning she was "German"..not Pennsylvania Dutch, they found one of an early settler named/or referred to as "Jacob Duestch" whose wife was taken captive around the time to of been her in an Indian battle. She must of been going by the name of "Dutch". One step further to pieceing together the unknown...and to it being correct. Washington was given with his "associates" about 200,000 acres of land about the time some of the Sherills are "not found" in Augusta Co., Va.(1748)..JOhn Lewis was part of this group...I found out this morning the land was in Western Pennsyvania and northern Kentucky what is now West Virginia, across into Ohio also...as part of the Virginia Ohio Land Company holdings. Later they also purschased lands in Mississippi. The area was mainly under French control and then the British...maybe they might have some reacords. The French were your original Templar Knights. Rossyln Chapel is the only Masonic affliated and its on the Scottish/English border...the crusades wee in FRance for the most part for their intiations..and those that came over with William Conquor, were part of them. Washington is married indeed to this group in England family lineages.they were the "elite" of the elite in craftsmen of their trades also. thsi information alone has one of our missing lines found back to Normany...as you know into this with other people as well as Sherill's. So goes for genealogy, heh?..there's an lot of living to do also daily isn't there!...with out all the family foundation talking going on..Happy Easter... Kemokae.

Someone doesn't want me doing this work, and I still not getting into my e-mail server....either one of them. Same problem the password is checked off when I go to
put in my username, and it won't work, when I take it off in the password it won't work if I delete the check mark. It asks me to remeber an new password or else it
makes me go to those security codes, but never accepts them either. Talk about someone needs an "chit chat" from the man above, you got it! May send you more snail mail later on, if I can't get this E-mail stuff resolved. But I was rather liking the little tidbits you send me with your circle of internt buddies..hope your pastor is doing fine..laughs* You know he asked me to come to church, and I had to tell him I can't make it living 3,000 some miles away..I still chuckle about that one...but I told him if I ever visted the area, I'd maybe stop by and say Hello..winks*... Hope Mike and the family are doing well also...later.
