    Genealogy - I finally got past my brick wall....woohoo!

    I have been looking for the past 3 or so years for info about my great-great grandfather. I had one "iffy" connection past him, but now it has been confirmed and I can trace his family all the way back to England now.

    I had always been told he was full blooded Cherokee and it appears that is not true. There is a "possibility" that he may have been 1/2 Cherokee but I can't verify that yet.

    Anyway this is in my "Fuller" line and there were two Fullers that came over on the Mayflower. Many thought my Fullers were in that line but after doing DNA research it appears they were not. They are however cousins to those 1st Fullers who came over. So far my first ancestor in the U.S. is a Fuller who was born in England in 1650 and became father to his first child in the U.S. in 1675 (so he had to arrive here somewhere between 1650's and 1675).

    Anyway, I found some interesting genealogy websites along the way and I thought some of you may enjoy this one:
