A 4.2 quake has it San Diego county around the Julian, CA. The quake hit at 8:32am at depth of 14 miles. Possible change in magnitude is possble since the quake just hit and seismologists have not looked at the data yet.

4.2 quake depth change
After being reviewed, seismologists have kept the magnitude the same but the depth is not 14 miles but only 4 miles. A 4.0 quake hit the same area on Monday night at a depth of 3 miles.

These quakes are pretty shallow, no? Has me a little worried!

Mine are definitely not themselves. I think I posted it on EB, but shame on me for not posting it here! Yes, they have been whiny and clingy for 2 days now. My mom was on the phone with me on Thurs. and heard my one dog and was very concerned. He's been whining in ways he hasn't before. Both are healthy as can be and I'm pretty sure they are sensing something.
In particular, my one dog, Zelda is concerning. Last night, anytime either myself or my bf would leave the room, she'd lay on our bed and whine really badly, even though she wasn't alone and oneof us was still with her. She'd sit on the edge of the bed and then start pacing the bed whining. She wanted both of us to be close for some reason. She was sleeping under her blanket this morning when I left, so not sure what she's been doing today.

My mini-schnauzer, Mandi, is in a growling mood, don't know what she keeps hearing but it is making her growl. Our larger dog, Max, is constantly whining. It is the kind of whining that you would associated with big time distress. Don't know what is up with that but it is very annoying to say the least. He seems very unsettled for some reason.
Hope it is not for something coming down the road.
