Watched the King of Hearts movie yesterday evening and all the 50+ friends of mine could think about were the kilts...
Until one of them piped up and said I wonder what's underneath the kilts?
Anyway, I found that Wikipedia actually had a great explanation of this strange phenomenon. (And I thought that jock straps were de riguer before reading the Wiki description.)
Anyway, if a TRUE SCOTSMAN reads the wiki article, he can confirm or debunk, but I have no first hand knowledge of what I read there.
