Note to the Canadians: The major difference between the Cycle Charts for the USA and Canada is minute...all planets in both charts fall into the same signs and houses, therefore, what is written for the USA in the Cycle Charts can be read as well for Canada.
This particular Jupiter Cycle Chart is unusually brief - the previous one ran from February 24, 1999 through about noon of July 8, 2010 - and will only be in effect for a brief period of time. This Jupiter Cycle Chart shows what departments of life in the USA and Canada are affected and how, by finances, religion and philosophy, advertising, the courts, interstate commerce, shipping, lecturing and preaching, arbitration and treaties from July 8, 2010 to February 5, 2011.
Despite its brevity in its current cycle the influence will be dynamic and critical as Jupiter is strongly afflicted. The influence of Jupiter on everything he contacts is in the direction of expansion. Whether in matters of wages, in the price to be paid for produce, or in the investment of capital, he ever tends to higher prices and more lavish expenditures. This tendency, when he is afflicted - as indicated in this chart - leads to extravagance and to purchases at a price far above their real worth or what may reasonably be expected from them in the way of financial returns.
Religion and philosophy in thought, finance and commerce in business, and the influence of capitalism in politics, are the most outstanding things through which Jupiter brings to pass...with a focus on attracting events relating to finances than any other one thing.
Jupiter is posited in Aries in the 6th house, ruling the employment sector, public health, the nation’s food supply, the working class, armed forces, civil service and public servants...conjunct Uranus, planet of unpredictability, both opposed to Saturn, all of them square to Pluto. The behavior of a negative Jupiter is careless, greedy, opportunistic, and fanatical. Expect such behavior to increase from those connected with the health of the American public and with those who employ others. To understand the meaning of Jupiter in Aries, picture a door of opportunity being flung open...and if it doesn’t open fast enough, see the door being kicked open...for Jupiter afflicted in Aries is a greedy, impatient wolf and during this cycle intends to stalk Little Red Riding Hood all across America and Canada.
As the new cycle begins the tension is high, especially relative to financial matters...unemployment pushing to outer limits; an increase in businesses failures; inflation on the rise and heading toward hyperinflation once Jupiter in retrograde motion cozies up to Uranus. Oops..we may be there come September. Look for Jupiterian-type events to surface the first week of September 2010, when a retrograde Jupiter forms an exact conjunction to radix Uranus...a sudden crisis which may involve any of the aforementioned Jupiter and/or 6th house activities...tremendous bodily stress will be brought to bear on earthlings, the necessity of which is to precipitate psychological maturity in the masses.
Calming herbs such as Chamomile aren’t going to cut the mustard as the planets form such powerful and challenging relationships to each other, affecting all living things; we will require sedative herbs such as Valerian officinalis or Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata). To those so inclined, it is time to make the tinctures.
