The On-Going Days of High K-Index Readings

Post  beejean on Sat 17 Apr 2010, 2:21 pm

    Hello,

Look at the K-Index Readings below

compare a few example days of the March readings with the much higher April index readings.

You'll probably immediately notice this month's higher indices,
because we have had recurrent days with K-Indices reaching level 5 or above.
And A indexes have reached higher levels on April days also.

I guess March was an easier month for any geomagnetic sensitives.
I wonder if this means we'll see more storms, volcanic activity, and EQs this month?

    are there any sunspots?

    seems we need them.

    wild life is kinda bonkers....

    plant life is really whacky

i remember the sunflowers last season...hid their heads!

    did not face the sun.

    Hi Dove:

Indeed, there have been a number of the CME's (Coronal Mass Ejections) and lots of Northern Lights this month also. The days of the blank sun with no sunspots are over for now. But, I still think that might not help the plant life. I notice that everything is growing very tall as if those plants are picking up a new solar radiation mix. It must also have to do with the shrinking protective envelope of the atomosphere and magnetosphere weakening!
