As Socal can tell you all, I am a huge fan of "The Wizard of Oz". I can literally sit and have the movie on and do every line from the movie word for word for each character. In fact this past Christmas, my son got me the 70th anniversary edition of "The Wizard of Oz" and it is a very low number in the lot that was made.
That said, when I picked up the newspaper (LA Times) this morning from our driveway the first thing I noticed was a picture of Judy Garland as Dorothy and below it was the following:

The thought of them remaking this movie makes me sick to my stomach There is an old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Doesn't anyone in Hollywood have an original idea in their heads, without having to go to this classic to remake it?
I for one will not see ANY remake of this movie Some things should remain the same. There is a reason why this movie is so fondly remember and re-watched every year it is on.
