Quake wakes me up

A microearthquake occurred at 11:53:03 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
The magnitude 2.6 event occurred 8 km (5 miles) S of Port Hueneme, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 7 km ( 4 miles).

Sure felt a little strong than that. But it was a quick jolt.

Same here. woke me up very qwuickly from sound sleep. thought id jump on to see a 6+ in LA or something or maybe a M4 here local.

Felt like a jolt and then my bed kept rocking. weird for a 2.6!!

Same thing here. Sound asleep and a quick jolt. My buddies in the area also leaving comments on my fb page as reported feeling. I'm sure this may get upgraded to at least a 3

It's been upgraded to 2.7. Still weird. One of my coworkers said it felt like Norrhridge but was realy short

I didnt look at the depth of it, but my guess it was very shallow, almost on the surface for so many to feel it so strong.

I seriously was shocked when I saw thats what it was. Did they perhaps test something at one of the bases?? LOL

People i work with said the following about the quake:

One person says he heard about 3 booms

Another says he heard it but didn't feel it

One other says it was like a mini Northridge, it slammed hard then shook side to side.
