Hi All. Just thought you might like to see what Lowell, Petra and I have been working on for about 10 years now. This is Lowell's project, but he was kind enough to teach me how to use it. The map is only a small part of the overall program.

We do pretty good with it, but not as good as we like. Lots of data is needed and its just not there. There may be some help from NASA but that is going to take time. Everything has to be proven to work. Getting it right one time isn't proof. It could be luck.

When viewing the map look for the smallest circle. Note the color of that circle then follow the rings that match that color. You can see the areas the rings cross and the areas where quake might occur. At present time we are unable to determine with any degree of accuracy where in the rings a quake might occur. Take Care...Don

These are the quakes used to develop the map.

    Hi Don!

I am glad you mentioned the weird tones. I have been picking them up for a while now, so odd.
I even had a dream frame and incorporate what I was hearing. Never had anything like that happen.
There is one that if I listen for it at nite is constant, very high at the fringe of hearing that used to never be there.

I am still learning and so I haven't a clue to what it means yet.

However, I am getting off track. I wanted to mention that Hollister and Riverside seems to be swarming (for lack of a better word)
and may be sites for higher levels of siesmicity soon, maybe even by this weekend?

I thot I'd ask your perspective.

PS. I like your take on the Rogers Creek, daunting as it may be, because when it goes, elevation happens!
I am also curious, the M9.2 Andaman showed up in the antipode, more than the typical FFA zones, yet the moderate quakes show up more often on the FFA rings, than the antipode, care to speculate? (grin)

Hi Marc. You will see quakes at the antipodes if the antipodes is an active area to start with. In the instance of the Andaman quake the antipodes was just off the coast of South America which is a very active area. There are some exceptions, but that is generally how it works. Take Care...Don
